“Testing some DER DUFT perfumes. They are very complex and genre ambiguous. When I found out Freddie Albrighton’s creation was in the collection, that pushed me to buy the sample set, because I was very curious about his work and style.
Interestingly, what I found most impressive about the collection is the consistent intensity of the perfumes as a whole - like you have a compilation of songs and the mix engineer normalised them so that they have the same volume - no one scent is too strong or too weak. Prin’s “Act” has a light concentration that’s unlike his typical denser works, as if they have kicked the cello player out and replaced him with a flute player.”
